InnoEdge Technologies Limited (RC 1749421 / RC 1571802, Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria) and InnoEdge Technologies, Inc. (File 4952253, State of Delaware, USA) — collectively referred to as "InnoEdge", "we", or "us" — operate the website innoedgetech.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the Site, why we collect it, how we process it, who we share it with, how long we retain it, and the rights available to you.

This policy is prepared with awareness of the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), its implementing regulations, and United States federal and state privacy principles. It does not yet address EU/EEA operations or GDPR; we will update this policy if we direct services to individuals in the EU.

1. Data we collect and why

1.1 Contact form

When you submit the contact form at /contact or the project-intake form at /start, we collect your name, email address, and the message or project brief you provide. You may optionally supply your company name, job title, phone number, and organisation. We collect this data solely to respond to your enquiry or project request.

Legal basis (NDPA): performance of a pre-contractual step taken at your request, and our legitimate interest in managing business enquiries. Where you are a data subject in a jurisdiction that requires consent for this processing, the act of submitting the form constitutes consent.

1.2 Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-preserving analytics tool that does not set cookies, does not fingerprint individuals, and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information. Plausible operates entirely on aggregated, anonymised data. No personal data is transferred to Plausible on your behalf.

1.3 Server logs

Our hosting provider (DigitalOcean App Platform) records standard HTTP server logs — IP address, user agent, referring URL, and timestamp — as a normal byproduct of serving web content. We retain these logs for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes only. We do not analyse these logs for marketing or profiling.

1.4 Cookies and local storage

We do not set advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or cross-site analytics cookies. We may set short-lived session cookies for legitimate technical purposes such as CSRF protection on form submissions. See our Cookie Policy for details.

2. How we use your data

We use the data you submit through the Site exclusively to:

  • Respond to your enquiry, project brief, or support request.
  • Send you an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of your submission.
  • Contact you about the project or service you described, where you have asked us to do so.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

3. Third-party processors

We share your data only with processors that help us deliver the services described above and only to the extent necessary. Our current processors are:

ResendTransactional email deliveryUSA
Plausible AnalyticsAggregate web analytics (no personal data)EU (Germany)

We enter into data-processing agreements with each processor. If you are a resident of Nigeria, these transfers are made in compliance with the NDPA provisions on cross-border data transfers.

4. Data retention

We retain contact form submissions and project briefs for as long as the related business relationship is active or reasonably expected to remain relevant, and for a further period of up to two years after the last interaction, after which we delete or anonymise the data. Server logs are retained for 30 days. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 6).

5. Your rights under the NDPA 2023

If you are a natural person in Nigeria (or, where applicable, in any other jurisdiction whose law grants similar rights), you have the following rights in respect of personal data we hold about you:

  • Right to information — to know what data we hold about you and how we process it.
  • Right of access — to receive a copy of your personal data in a readable format.
  • Right to rectification — to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — to have your data deleted, where processing is not required by law.
  • Right to object — to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to restrict — to limit how we use your data while a dispute is being resolved.
  • Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Data Subject Request". We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

If you are dissatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) at ndpb.gov.ng.

6. Children

This Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately at the address below and we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Form submissions are transmitted over TLS. Access to data is restricted to InnoEdge personnel who need it to respond to enquiries.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
